“The Bungalow” is an ode to the creative beginnings of Katie Davis Design. In 2018, Katie Davis started her design firm out of her own personal home, a 1920’s craftsman bungalow. As Katie’s design business grew, she and her team renovated and refreshed countless bungalows in and around the Houston Heights, it became a signature of her portfolio. When Katie opened the doors to her first standalone design studio, she chose a small white bungalow, which ultimately became her firm’s creative home for five years. Today, the spirit of the bungalow—quintessentially comfortable and casually elegant—remains at the heart of Katie Davis Design.
